Wenbo, a student living in London and studying service design at Royal College of Art. Graduated from Communication University of China in digital art. Interning at The Type.

He has a great passion for Interaction Design and User Experience Design. He is obsessed with the design of operating system and application. He also has a love for the hardware and software of digital products, and he is a keen collector of digital products. His interests are exploring the world and meeting people around the world. He has been to 22 countries on 4 continents, for travel, volunteering, and summer school. He is skilled in board sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, sand-boarding, and surfing. He has participated in dozens of short films as director, cinematographer and set artist.

Technology alone is not enough, it’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the results that make our heart sing. His hope is to design and create products that convey the wonder and happiness brought by the intersection of technology and humanities to the next generation, and the forgotten people of the digital age.

White Eagle Appeal, a non-profit organisation that has been active in volunteering to help Ukraine since the early days of the war, has a strong volunteer base that has helped many of these refugees. These volunteers have worked hard from the early stages of figuring out how to operate to the more stable system they have developed today. This time RCA and Hellon have joined to help WEA to provide better help to these refugees with their existing resources. In order to achieve this, our group hopes to achieve these aims without increasing the current workload by understanding volunteers characteristics from their perspective. Building a volunteering experience programme, which is redesigned to allow for more effective coordination of volunteer skills and efforts, enhanced motivation and engagement, improved communication and collaboration, and increased support and loyalty.
