As a service designer with a background in economics, international law and international relations, I not only use design thinking to identify, define and confront problems; but also analyse design missions and hypotheses from real-world perspectives, such as global markets, economy, supply chain management and international policy, to help make design decisions.
One of my design principles is that I decided to "always choose poorer ones to win". I believe that richer people, no matter for money, power or resources, have already grabbed more than enough from the world. And I would like to try the designer’s power to influence richer ones to do more good for the world.
I have followed traditional Chinese cultural products for about 10 years and am very pleased with the rise in attention and expectations for related products in the market in recent years. After considering the policy factors, business and the heat of the products, I believe there is a good opportunity now to promote a change in the market of traditional products, so I gathered a team to promote this topic in the final project.
Pursù is a one-stop information and shopping platform for Chinese traditional cultural products, aiming to seamlessly combine cultural learning with the shopping experience, helping users easily find and purchase high-quality products with the right cultural meaning, while meeting modern consumer needs and preserving traditional culture.
